Is this what Im in for???????

Well Im an African American Woman, and I am in love and in a relationship with a white man....I sometimes get nervious about how people will precieve us,,and how we will be accepted...@ the end of the day..I know were gonna be together because he loves me and I love him! Now his birthday was today...and i was reading comment that his friends left on his Facebook page... One of his (white) friends said Happy Bday Nigga...He didnt even look like a down white boy..lol...But i just got very offended...and i dont know how to talk to my boyfriend about it....It may seem small to some of you...But its a big deal to me...Please give me some advice on how to go about this.

Don't let others press your shoulders down. If it meant something to you then talk to him about it. You love him, right, & he loves you, right, then it'll be alright. If you where married to him, would you let some idiot split up your marriage?
There was a movie like this once, i forgot the title. But the male actor does that crime scene thing i think and the female actor played on "thin love betwn love n hate". It was just like what youre in now. -The dude was an ex-coporate guy turned landscaper and the girl was at some high level business job.

Be prepared to deal with alot worse than that. People can and will be cruel, but you don't know if that statement was meant towards you. If people find out you are that sensitive about things they are purposely going to piss you off. Let the love you have for this man overpower the bullshit that life is going to throw at you. well i am dating a white man and i am African American woman. You just have to look pass it. Me and him been dating for a year and known each other for about eleven. I get the looks too, but you have to look pass that and move on. I look at them and laugh sometimes, or kisses him. His friends say the word Nigger, but not towards me, they call it to each other, i even call him a cracker, and talk about white people like he's not white. We have that understanding and came to a realization that it's just words. I guess if your not ready for all the looks and talk then you shouldn't be in that relationship, that's something i had to think about myself. Good Luck.
