Michael Jackson is dead! Dam! Thats a lost to music. He was great! Yeah his face might of been a bit of every feature of race he has visited but his music was just awesome. I can't believe he is gone now! MJ was AWESOME!!!!!!!! Is still is. He impacted music like Elvis...

Both from a poor background who came to be the greatest!!!!

A jackson 5 fan,
I loved me some jackson 5 growing up. I remember going to one of his concerts at the age of 12.

I will never forget that experience at that moment and time, it was 1974.

I also remember in 1984 with the victory tour, where I was crushed because I could not go to the concert in knoxsville tn, because I started a new job and could not get time off work, that was the closest I could get to going to one of his concerts as an adult, I was crushed, I needed my job. I lived in alabama at the time and that was the closest it got to alabama. I was devastated!!

Guest,
Truly a sad day in music history!

GQ,
Man, this is a fucked up day! I remember all the summers my parents would take me to Disneyland and they had "Captain E O." It was the first time I saw a movie in 3-D. Then trying to moonwalk and not getting it right to trying to lean forward like MJ did in the smooth criminal video. GOAT, pick something: dancer, entertainer, songwriter, musician... Name anyone else fucking ever that has a better collection of hits than mike. I mean, life changing songs. He'll be missed because he was one of the last superstars that actually deserved the title

hey,
He was incredible! Every song was a hit. Every single he put out top the charts. Everybody knew him. Great guy he was.

listen!,
I am a huge MJ fan... big nose, new nose, no nose.. MJ was the shit! Period! All of those who grew up listen to MJ music on the radio, at the BBQ's on the block, you know that MJ was the man.. regardless of what he looked like or what he did... We are still listening to stuff he made 30+ years ago and it still sounds good and makes you feel good inside. AND if you grew up in the 70s and 80s, you knew you were wearing a MJ jacket, or the glove, doing the moonwalk and all the other dances he did.. wearing a jerry curl with baby hair, the loafers thick socks.. you did one of the above.. RIP MJ.. you were the man.. but I know now he is no longer in sad and there is no longer any sadness for him

@listen,
Yes you are correct! I am the 1st poster, a jackson 5 fan. I grew up with micheal, and only experienced going to one of his concerts as a child only.

He is and always be my idol period! I cried when he died yesterday, memories god memories! I love me some micheal today as I did as a child. I also love the brothers too, as with them is when I loved the J5 as a fanatic! I thought I was the only "older person lurkin this site, people will not comment on micheal, and I do not know why, He was and still is and will be forever the best entertainer in the world period! I guess the younger people here do not know micheal that well, and they are mostly black people on this site, I cannot understand just reading and not commenting what micheal meant to them.

I guess if you aren't talking nasty about sex that they do not care about anything meaningful on this site. Therefore I think all people on this site is just young and sex is the only thing on their minds when the come here. Sad.

Cont...,
It has been over 100 lurkers and only six people posted what micheal meant to them. Unbelievable! I would love to read from people what micheal mean to them as an entertainer only!

I agree with listen, the nose, the skin (no bleaching) acusations of being a pedihiole(spelling),does not mean nothing in my book! I love him as as entertainer and I also love him too, I will never forget as a child, in the 70's how much I was in love with his cute self, a straight up fanatic! R.I.P micheal, I will always love you!

HereIStand,
I agree, it was very shocking hearing that Michael Jackson had passed. He really was a great performer. He could dance like no other, what trips me out is that he danced and talked (sounded) the same since he was with the Jackson 5. But one thing that really pisses me off is that the same people that called him a freak, weirdo and other things are the main ones saying I'm gonna miss him, he was one of the greatest etc...

HereIStand,
A great example of how his music changed my life... 2005 my best friend died, I think I cried for a week. My cousin had just bought his latest cd so I put it on as loud as it would go and cried, laughed and danced at the same time. His words soothed my soul that day.

HEREISTAND,
that was suppose to say 2001, not 2005, sorry

Aries,
I loved Mike J. Man. He died super young with a lot more time ahead of him to do even more great things. But, with that being saying, I'm grateful that he dedicated like 95% of his life to the people. A true artist, performer, and entertainer. He was a true American Icon, heard all around the world. I hope you're at peace up above Michael, see you when I get there.... Deuces

B,
Mike was a one of a kind entertainer - he was phenominal - he will never be duplicated - unfortunately he was probably also a child molester and lets not forget that although he made tremendous contributions to music and humanitarian causes that cloud that looms over him is too big too just disregard... I am not saying lets beat up on the dead but lets not idolize him like he was a demi-God with no flaws - he was human he was an exceptional human but a human just the same and we need to remember the entertainer without forgetting what the man was accused of doing.

:(,
i am going to miss him sooo much.!!!
and um, @ B when people die you are supposed to celebrate the good they did 1st of all, and second of all you must not be a real mj fan or even know mj if you even think he was a child molester!! he just loved kids because he never had a real childhood! he was such a sweet soul and had a big heart. i could never look at that sweet man and think he would do something so sick. he dedicated basically his whole life to the public and look what we do. we tear him down. that poor man. atleast he is not suffering anymore. i love mike and will miss him dearly
my prayers go out to his family and children

R.I.P Michael Jackson
