I just lived my younger days (16-21) to fast and now that my life is together I'm still suffering for my decisions. Yes there is more to life than a man...there is God and my child! Chances are that this guy may back off and that is the chance that I have to take. Well i agree you should tell him, and if he's feeling you and all wrapped up in you like you say then he will definitely not judge you for your past and come anyways... You should research Herpes and prevention of spreading it to him b4 you tell him so that you can educate him when you tell him so that he's not as afraid to catch it..

applaud you for wanting to make him aware. some people with herpes dont bother to tell their partner. Anyway you should just tell him and see what happens instead of dragging it along. Thanks to everyone that had something positive to say and also thanks to the negativity it just makes me aware of the reaction I may get from someone I chose to be with and that is the reality of the matter. I plan to tell this guy before the week is over and see what happens. I have to deal with the fact that he may reject me and I am okay with that.

Someone will love you - STD or not. If this guy isnt interested, you will find someone else. It might be a little hard with your situation, but it is possible. I have it too and I have two sex partners... one procteted one not, they know my status and still choose to get it in with me!
