I was in a long distance relationship for 4 years, so I can relate to this. I think that you may be nervous because even though it's your man, you aren't used to being around him on a daily basis and having him in your personal space. It's like, in a weird way, going on a date with a guy you used to date that you haven't seen in a while. I used to get excited, and then as the time approached - get nervous and then not want to see him. Trust me - when you see him and spend a little time around him - the ice will break, and you'll realize that's your sweetie. Hopefully he will have a lot planned to impress you - I know mine used to sweep me off my feet to make up for the fact he couldn't take me out on a regular basis due to the distance.
