My name is Latrice and I was really close friends to Shantel. Alot of ya'll know her as Mzkeepitreal. I was the one that turned her on to this site. But anyways. She passed a couple of months ago in May. I know that she had landed a book deal, but I am not sure if the book will still be released as planned in Sept. For those of you that were following her, I will definitely get back on to let you know if the book will go out as planned, later, or if her family decides otherwise. I am still getting over it but I guess time will heal. She was my best friend almost like sisters. We grew up together but she was really sick leukemia and thatt's why she didn't respond too much to the article that someone had posted about her because they didn't know her situation and she was definitely not about to tell them. She was a great person, Even tho life dealt her a bad hand she still managed to follow her dreams before she passed.
