F*/kin' Confused

I had a dream a few months ago... after reconnecting with an ex. The dream was interesting because it didn't involve him but a mutual friend... that I never was attracted to sexuallly, etc...

So...................

Months pass, the ex and I stop talking... the reason for the reconnection - forgiveness

Recently,  I was out chillin and meet this person... this persom made me think of my dream... when I replayed the dream in my mind... I saw this person face instead of the friend from a few months ago... I said.. Oh shit... what is this?

I've never seen this person before... the two people may have side profile that are close but do not resemble each other in the least... I can't release the thought...

1. Why is the dream resurfacing with this face... a new face and not during sleeping hours?

2. Why is this individual in it... no connection what so ever...

3. No my type... by no means...

4. and when we did communication... it was very brief... I mean in passing

so... I say all this to ask... what is your take on this...

P.S... the only part of the dream I can remember is the sex... and.... yes, it was vivid and felt real...too dam real (basically - it was on point)

Help!!! the dream websites aren't helping me... get this understood and resolved... and it has been two weeks.
